On behalf of the South Carolina Association for Pupil Transportation Executive Board and Regional Board of Directors, I would like to invite you to attend the 37th Annual South Carolina Association for Pupil Transportation Conference Workshop and Trade Show, being held July 17-20, 2012 at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Workshop dates will be July 17-20, 2012 with the Trade Show being held on Wednesday morning, July 18, beginning with breakfast in the show area at 7:30 AM. The show will run from 8:00 AM until 12 Noon.
SCAPT is a nonprofit organization which was formed in 1975 to represent both state and district transportation management and administrative positions in South Carolina. At the present time, the organization is made up of over 400 members who represent the entire state.
SCAPT represents over 5500 school buses and 1500+ activity buses.
The organization previously changed its By-laws to allow bus drivers, mechanics, and anyone associated with transportation in South Carolina to become members. Transportation personnel working in South Carolina represent 10,000+ employees.
We are looking forward to building new relationships with sponsors who are willing to be involved with our organization and support school bus transportation in South Carolina. I have attached a PDF document which gives more details and a registration form.
